.On thursday, waltraud heublein, a well-known and beloved resident of schney, died at the age of 75. For many years, she had been a CSU local politician for her town as well as for the town and the district of lichtenfels. Waltraud heublein’s parents’ house was in lichtenfels on knopsberg, and since the early 1960s she had lived in schney with her husband max heublein, who was an enthusiastic protector and for decades was extremely committed to the zimmerstutzen protector society as chairman and protector master, but died in 1992 at the age of 56.
Of course, waltraud heublein was also very close to the guardianship association, of which she was a member for more than 50 years, and was involved in many matters as a committee member, so that she was made an honorary member. In 2009 she was even allowed to take a cure as a guardian queen. Since schney was very close to her heart, she was also a member of most of the other associations, so she also appointed the free gymnastics association schney as an honorary member. But her commitment to local politics was outstanding. For the CSU, she was a member of the lichtenfels city council for three periods, i.E. 18 years, and also stood up for the interests of the citizens in committees, with whom she also maintained contact at many official and social events. But she was particularly committed to the women’s union. For more than 30 years she worked for the local association of lichtenfels, of which more than nine years as chairwoman for women-specific topics such as equal rights in everyday life, at work and in politics, so that she was appointed honorary chairwoman. But she was also a member of the board of directors at the district and county level for a long time. In the spirit of charity, she was also a regular blood donor, and was honored by the BRK for donating more than 50 units. Daughter susanne werner and son thomas heublein mourn their mother’s death. Many citizens will remember waltraud heublein fondly and will keep her in their prayers.
